November - December 2007
Bruce's brother Bob broke his leg badly on December 16th while playing softball. While he is on the mend now (after becoming the bionic man with a titanium plate & rod put in his leg!), fans can wish Bob a speedy recovery by emailing him directly to express your best wishes.
Bruce, Chuck, Eric and John send all their fans Christmas Greetings with this "Elf Yourself" online holiday card! We all knew the guys could rock, but who knew they had such holiday spirit!
Video clips of Bruce's recent visit to Brazil have been popping up on YouTube, and a few in particular have a bit better sound quality than others and are definitely worth checking out. All of the below clips are from Bruce's performance with Brazilian band Mundo Cão in Curitiba at the venue Ópera1.
Thanks to Michael Edwards for bringing these to our attention.
"Got an invite to the Gene Simmons Roast and it was a hilarious evening. It ran so late I couldn't even stay till the end, but some of the jokes about Gene and KISS in general were brutal, but very funny. He asked for it, and he got it. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Nicholas, his son. Imagine a young, spitfire version of Gene, without the knowledge of fame and fortune. A classy offspring, so Gene and Shannon have done great with their unique style of family. He is a family jewel! Sophie was not in attendance as it was a bit blue and, shall I say, inappropriate.
Also spoke with Geoff Tate from Queensryche, Alice and Chain's Jerry Cantrell, and Scott Ian from Anthrax. Metal Skool was the house band, and they are very funny to entertain. I know they will have to edit this event, as it was taped for A&E. BTW, I did not ROAST Gene, that was left for the comedians and his son. Can't wait to see the final version. Thanks to Gene for the invite. I had a great time!!" - BK
Congratulations to Bruce's parents on the recent celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary!! Bruce and his brother Bob were on hand to help them with the celebration, which included both a fancy chocolate cake as well as a cake marking their 60 years together!! Congratulations!!
